Meta announced its opening it's virtual reality operating system, now called Meta Horizon OS, to third-party developers so they can develop new apps and VR devices based on the OS.

MIT researchers have found a way to create stacked red, green, and blue pixels, which increases the pixel density in VR displays and televisions, making it possible to have even better displays than are currently available.
